Fibre can be acquired by eliminating weeds or gathering fully developed fibre seeds. When a weed is chopped with a scythe, axe, pickaxe, hoe, or sword, or when it is exploded by a bomb, it has a 50% chance of dropping 1 Fibre. On Tuesdays, the Desert Trader will also trade five stones for one fibre.
High concentrations of Fiber-dropping weeds are often found on Mine Floors 25–29 and 81–109. Another good supply is the late-game Mutant Bug Lair, where its regenerating weeds can yield 40–70 fibre every day.
Killing a Wilderness Golem on the Wilderness Farm map will drop Fibre with a 90% likelihood and a 50% chance of dropping a second Fibre.
Fibre is always of normal quality.
