Born Bobby Estell on April 2, 1980 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Bobby Bones grew up in the little community of Mountain Pine. Bones’s father left the family when he was five years old. After that, he was primarily raised in poverty by his mother and maternal grandmother. Bones attended Henderson State University for his further schooling, where he started working in radio at the school’s station, KSWH-FM.

Caitlin Parker, whom Bones first met in 2019 while she was touring the “Dancing with the Stars” set with her buddy, an ABC public relations representative, got married to him in the summer of 2021.
Radio Career
In his hometown of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Bones obtained employment at KLAZ radio station while still a college student. Later, in 2002, he started working at KLAL in the same city after being hired by Q100/KQAR in Little Rock. It was during his stay in Little Rock that KHFI-FM in Austin, Texas, hired Bones. He began working there in the evenings before finally being transferred to the mornings, when he co-hosted “The Bobby Bones Show” with Amy Moffett-Brown and Dan Chappell, also known by his stage name Lunchbox, in 2003. Over the next few years, Austin audiences took a tremendous liking to the program. 2012 saw Bones and the program relocated to Nashville, Tennessee’s WSIX-FM studios. “The Bobby Bones Show” began broadcasting nationally in syndication early the next year via Premiere Networks, an iHeartMedia subsidiary. With over 150 radio stations carrying the show, which averages 9.2 million listeners a week, country music celebrities like Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, and Jason Aldean frequently stop by for interviews.
In addition to his various radio appearances, Bobby Bones hosts the weekly show “Country Top 30 with Bobby Bones,” which airs on more than 100 US radio stations.
