Initially, Chance had aspirations of pursuing a career in law after completing his education. However, he later had a change of heart and decided to follow his passion for acting, leading to his relocation to London. To pursue his acting dream, Chance saved up from the shoe shop and cinema jobs he worked at the time. While in London, he joined the National Youth Theatre and received training at the Identity School of Acting.
