How resolutely Newcastle punished careless Chelsea
Newcastle United entered the game bolstered by the returns of Isak and Bruno Guimaraes, but their injury woes were evident from the thin substitutes’ bench selected by manager Eddie Howe. Acknowledging the difficult phase the team was going through, Howe noted that these challenges might persist for a while. Nevertheless, he highlighted that the match showcased the talent that still exists within the squad.
