Derek Hough, renowned for his role as a judge on “Dancing with the Stars,” recently shared an update about his wife Hayley Erbert’s health on Instagram.
In his post, Hough expressed admiration for Erbert’s resilience and strength, particularly over the past 48 hours. He shared his deep gratitude for the overwhelming support and love they have received during this challenging time. “Words cannot express how grateful and thankful we are for the support and love that you have given us,” he stated.
He also mentioned the numerous offers of assistance they’ve received, which he found both humbling and appreciated. Hough concluded his message with a hopeful note, expressing their family’s desire to pay forward the kindness and support they’ve experienced.
Hayley Erbert, a dancer and Hough’s wife of three months, recently underwent an emergency craniectomy. This surgical procedure involves removing part of the skull to alleviate pressure on the brain. Hough revealed in his Instagram post that Erbert had become disoriented while on their Symphony of Dance tour, leading to her hospitalization and the subsequent surgery.
